A Killer Title Gets You Conversions ? Title Tips For The Article Ghost Writer

If you’re an article ghost writer, you really need to make sure your titles are good.  When you’re writing quick and easy general information articles, you need a title that’s going to make yours stand out.  It could be what makes or breaks your article, and if it’s done right, you can see lots of traffic that will equal conversions!

There are two really important things to always keep in mind about the title.  One, it should catch the attention of the reader.  Two, it should promise something and the article body should deliver it.  If you keep these two things in mind while you’re dreaming up your title, you’ll come up with something good.

How To Make Your Title Unique

Your title should be unique and attention grabbing.  They’re going to see a list of results for their search, and you want yours to jump out at them.  Sometimes a great idea pops into your head; more often, it takes a little thinking and tinkering.

One thing you can do is have a look at the competition.  On any article website, type in your keywords and see what else comes up.  You’ll usually see the usual – “The Benefits Of Blah-Blah,” “The Advantages And Disadvantages of Blah Blah,” “Blah Blah – Is It Right For You?” and so on.  Now, work on making yours different.  Put a unique twist on it that’s going to stand out from the rest.

Start Talking To The Reader On Word One Of Your Title

In this article, you should talk to the reader.  Just like I’m doing right now, use language that emphasizes “you.”  This is how you speak to them.  Start doing it in the title so that you can make a connection with them before they even start reading the article.  This helps to draw them in and hear your message.

Look at these two examples:

“How To Manage Monthly Finances To Get Out Of Debt Faster”

“How You Can Manage Monthly Finances So You’ll Get Out Of Debt Faster”

Just putting a “you” here and there makes a big difference.

Put Some Time Into Your Titles

Finally, spend some time on thinking up titles.  Make it a big part of your writing process.  Spend time on your subheadings too.  This is what the most successful writers do because they know that the title’s what’s going to get people choosing their article over others’.  Coming up with great, unique titles that tell the reader exactly what they’ll get is a skill every article ghost writer should master.  It’ll mean more conversions for you!

Article Marketing CHEAT Sheet – Overcome Writers Block With KILLER Content Style Templates

Who else is having a hard time overcoming writers block? If you are an article marker who COUNTS on your content to put food on the table, staring at a BLANK screen, or having an idea crisis is NOT good for your brand, or your business.

The GOOD news?

Anyone who makes their living creating content for a living has certain cheat sheets, or templates, or idea joggers that help them LEAP out of the lurch of brain freeze, and BACK into the warm and welcoming wellspring of creative inspiration. 🙂

I’m going to give you a few of my OWN simple content TYPE cheat cheat idea joggers, in the hope that you can apply them to your OWN niche, or your own marketplace, or your own suite of services or offers that make YOU money.

Ready?

Content Type: CONFRONTATION

The easiest way, especially if you are passionate about your industry, to create KILLER content is to challenge, or confront a big fish in your industry. I will often look for tweets, or popular authors, for example….and find things about their ideas that DON’T mesh with my own. I’ll confront them, or their ideas, directly with my content…..and once that article goes live on a directory, or on my blog, the traffic starts to come in VIRAL waves of support, or disdain!

Content Type: COMPLIMENTARY

The polar opposite approach of the above, is finding people, or perspective you AGREE with, or that jive well with your ethos. Compliment them. Everyone likes hearing their name mentioned in a positive context, and MUCH like the above, you’ll find that the target of your kind words will often LINK to either you, or your article, giving you tidal waves of traffic that build your business…..and your brand!

Content Type: CONFESSION

This works like MAGIC in just about every niche…and even, in some variation you can see it at play in THIS article. For example, if I were to confess to suffering from writers block for MOST of my professional career, and simply outline the ways that I’ve been able to overcome it, it not only gives me an idea for new content, it also creates a bond, a rapport and a commonality with many of the people reading this, who obviously, by virtue of the fact that they’re reading this article… share in this pain!

The truth is, having a long list of TYPES of content for any and every situation is a great way to overcome writers block FAST…and when you’ve written thousands of articles like I have, and have millions of readers as a result, unfortunately… writers block is simply NOT an option when you’re trying to GROW your business in a BIG way like me!

Killer Terran Vs Protoss Strategy – Starcraft 2 Pro Terran Strategy

Playing Terran vs Protoss games can be a real pain because of the powerful area attacks that Protoss has to decimate groups of Terran infantry. To deal with this you can either go with a mech style of play (which means bigger units) or you can use this Terran vs Protoss strategy.

Start off with a normal build order, putting a Reactor on your first Barracks after you make a couple Marines for early defense. Add on 2 more Barracks when you can and put Tech Labs on them. Research Stim Packs and Combat Shield and keep your Barracks busy making units for an early push.

A lot of times this early push can do a lot of damage to a Protoss player because Terran infantry is so powerful. If Protoss has a Colossus or High Templar though you’ll have to pull back and get Ghosts to counter High Templar, and more Marauders and/or Vikings to combat the Colossi.

Get your Starport out and start making Medivacs to heal up your infantry army. A good trick is to build a Reactor on your Factory while your Starport is making Medivacs, then swap them out so you can make 2 Medivacs at a time, or a Medivac and a Viking depending on what you’re up against.

After this expand to your natural expansion to keep your income high. When your second Command Center is done, you should be able to afford building 3 more Barracks or so and keeping them busy all the time. Keep your macro up and you’ll build a huge army to be able to take down your Protoss opponent in the mid to late stages of the game.

As with all strategies, they won’t work nearly as well if you don’t have really good macro, which is your ability to have a high economy and produce a huge army. Once you get your macro game down then these strategies will come together much better.

3 Killer Terran Rush Attacks for Starcraft 2

The Terrans are the human race in SC2, and also the strongest defensive race in the game.  The single player campaign in SC2: Wings of Liberty is mostly focused on the Terran race.  The best units in this campaign do not exist (yet) in multiplayer in order to keep the gameplay balanced.  This will most likely change in the future after the Zerg and Protoss expansion packs arrive.  Terran’s are usually a very challenging competitor in multiplayer battles.  Terran’s have a number of options for defending as well as winning battles – they are the most flexible race in the game.

The Terran ability to move their Command Center while combat is a useful defensive skill when used correctly.  While this is a much more advantageous skill on bigger maps, if used correctly on smaller maps it can still be a very capable defensive tactic.

General Overview
Newbie Terran’s have a habit of turtling to protect themselves against early rushes.  Make sure to utilize quick soldiers like Reapers and Hellions to enlarge your reach as much as possible, otherwise soon your command center will be overwhelmed no matter how tough your defense is.

Active scouting and harassing your opponent while building up your buildings, tech tree, and economy is crucial to a successful game.  The Terran Scouting Guide has the best tactics for scouting and harassing your opponent.  Additionally, do not underrate your SCV units – they are not only excellent defensive units, but can be sent on attack as well.  SCV units have the ability to repair other machine units during attacking and even can construct bunkers and turrets.  So long as they are defended well, they can be the difference between a victory and losing.

Hellions and Marines
A technique that is usually successful if executed quickly at the beginning of the battle is to build Marines and Hellions at the same time.  If deployed early, Marines and Hellions can demolish most units that the opposing player can create early in the game.  However, if you are not fast enough and allow the opposing player to build up their tech then this is not an effective tactic.

Marines, Marauders, and Medivacs
Focusing on Marines and Marauders is another great tactic with two complementary units.  Construct Marines as soon as you can in the battle, and make sure to heal them when damaged to save on building costs.  Be sure to pull troops that are nearly dead so you can let them be healed, instead of having to make new ones.  The Zerg will have an very difficult time opposing this tactic.  Marauders are slow, strong units that are difficult to kill|, and can delay attacking units.  When Marines attack in big numbers, they can really destroy opposing forces.  But be careful – they are easily killed from behind.  If you then contribute some Medivac units, your opponent will have a really challenging time beating you.

Banshee Rush
The last Terran rush attack tactic is to quickly improve your technology and then produce Banshees.  Use them to kill as many early enemy troops as possible.  Be certain to develop a refinery and research all the technology needed to construct Banshees.  Then begin spawning them and destroying the weaker opposing units as soon as possible.  The main idea behind this tactic is making sure you keep it a secret – if the enemy finds out this is coming, it will seriously inhibit this attack and almost guarantee defeat.  However, if you are able to keep the strategy hidden, maybe by developing a decoy technique, then you should have a very easy time, especially vs. a surprised Zerg opponent.
